Candy Party!

We celebrated Will's 3rd and Ella's 2nd birthdays with the whole family last weekend with a Candy Party.  Basically, Will and Ella both will do just about anything for M&M's or lollipops.  So we figured this was the perfect theme for their birthdays!  It was a really sugary day and we all had a great time!  Thanks to my parents for hosting us at their house while we work on clearing ours out!
Nan's awesome lollipop wreath.

The Candy Bar!  And toothbrushes for everyone as a favor!!
Ella, her shirt says, "I'm only here for the cake (and presents)."  She's certainly our little trip... Just LOVE her.
Blowing out the candles on their caterpillar cake.  I wanted to make them a candy cake, but they fell in love with this one at Costco one week.  It's their party!!
 Whatcha eating Ella???  Oh, cake!
Will hanging on the porch with Aunt Amy and Pap.
 What's a candy party without a pinata?!
 Get it Benjamin!
 Too many presents...
My Aunt Charlotte buys the best gifts!  Cheerios all around!

Catching up!

Things have been a little more that a little hectic around here lately, thus the lack of blogging on my part.  We've had a number of illnesses that have really slowed us down.  And, right now I should most certainly be packing or sorting, but I thought I'd post a few updates first. Yep, we sold our house about two weeks ago and at this point really haven't found the right place for us to move into. Luckily, my parents have very generously offered to take us in if we don't find something before May 2, which is when this house closes. We're nervous, excited, and hopeful that the right thing will come along before baby #3 in early June!
Some of our recent adventures have been...

Valentine's Day cooking, making heart shaped cookies and pancakes!

Celebrating Joe's and Will's birthdays at the end of February with a small family party.  Much fun was had by all!
The birthday boys.

Uncle Damon, looking a little terrifying.
One of Will's favorite gifts, a can of black olives from Nan and Pap.
Checking out his new baseball glove from Dad.

Will and Ella have also taken to reading the Sunday paper with us...mostly just the Toys R Us ad.
