Summer fun!

We had a fun visit from the Herickhoff's on their way to SC for their big move.  The kids had a great time on the slip and slide! It was such fun having all five kids together and getting to catch up with our dear friends who we see all too infrequently.
 Benjamin!

 Gabe.  Where's your shoe?!?!?
 E-dog.

Anna getting in on the action.
We've had quite a hot summer!  Enjoying ice cream cones on the front step!

 Really, Gabe?!

Hi Gabe.  He waves to EVERYONE, in the grocery store, on the sidewalk, at the mall, everywhere. He is such a friendly little guy.  He would be saying Hi also, if he didn't have an ice cream cone shoved in his mouth...
Cooling off in the sprinkler after a graduation party!  Nope, they didn't even change their clothes!

 One tired baby!

T-Ball Day

Will's last t-ball games were lots of fun.  Joe's parents were able to come and see the action.  It really was such a fun season, packing the camp chairs in the car, eating hot dogs, and cheering wildly! We can't wait for soccer to start in a few weeks.

 The team!

Will is on the end, trying to put his hat over his heart for the National Anthem.

 Up to bat!
 Cheering section!

 With Dad and PopPop.
 With buddy, Logan.
 Will getting his first trophy.
A very proud moment for both of them!

Princess Ballet

Many of you know that I started taking dance classes when I was 3 years old and continued on into college.  Dance is something that taught me so much more than tap and ballet.  I learned poise, confidence, and hopefully, how to be a lady.  So when I had Ella, I could barely contain myself from buying her ballet shoes before even bringing her home from the hospital.  Last year though, she expressed interest in learning how to ice skate.  Joe and I were totally supportive of this and promptly enrolled her in a program where she has done very well.  I was secretly SERIOUSLY disappointed when she said that she wasn't at all interested in dance lessons.  Ouch.  I was not to be deterred, however, and presented the idea of Princess Ballet Camp being offered at a local performing arts center for this summer.  She quickly jumped at the chance. Anything princess these days is right on the money for Ella.  She had a wonderful time, dressing up, making crafts and friends, and putting on an adorable show at the end of the week.  Not kidding, be still my beating heart...
With Kylie, ready for camp!

During the show (mouth-open, tongue out, concentrating.)

 My princess...

 There's the tongue again!
