Holy Holidays...

I'm pretty sure I haven't posted anything since Thanksgiving, sorry about that.  Gabe was pretty sick for a while, battling ear infections (had a check today though and he's all clear, thank God!), we moved into the new house (insanity! pictures in next post) and of course Christmas!  Much fun has been had by all!

The last two months in pictures...

Ella showing off the Thanksgiving place mat she made.
 Doing a little dance...
 What are you eating?!
 Bros...
 So thankful for these monkeys...
I LOVE Gabe's face in this picture!! He's thankful for Ella kisses I'm sure!
Putting some (or all) of Pappy's hats on Gabe.
 Burying Ella in the pillows.
Random playdough fun.  I have NO idea why they needed shower caps (which I think are bowl covers).

Making crafts at Breakfast with Santa.
The Tabays at Breakfast with Santa!
A little visit!  Will was totally into it.  Ella wanted NOTHING to do with him.
Christmas cookie baking with Nan.  Will preemptively turned the mixer on high and got a flour bath.

 Ella and her Nan.
In my parent's neighborhood, Santa comes riding through on the antique fire truck one evening before Christmas.  This is probably the highlight of Christmas for Will.  He just LOVES it!
 So great...
 The gang's all here!
Will and Tyler in front of Santa's ride!
Will's school Christmas Program!  So fun!  He's just to the left of center with the red antlers and white, red and blue argyle sweater.  Sorry the pics are crummy... it was kind of hard not to block other parents and get a good picture. We headed to Chick Fil A after for lunch with family and some of Will's school friends so the kids could run off some energy in the indoor play place.

Christmas tree decorating for the first time in the new house.  We subsequently decorated this same tree four more times because it fell down FOUR TIMES (once with me under it).  I was seriously ready to Bah Humbug and roll it into the woods in our backyard.  Joe saved Christmas by running out three days before and finding a giant stand that could handle the weight and size of this monster.

We hosted Christmas Eve at our house!
Will and Pappy hanging after dinner.
 The little ones.

 Our Christmas elf...

 Really, Ma?!

Will shoeing off his new snow boots.
Will made reindeer food at school (oats and glitter) to attract the reindeer to our house.  Here they are scattering it in the front yard.  Will was pretty insistent that Joe should get the ladder and they should scatter it on the roof...

Christmas morning!  Santa came!  Ella opening her new digital camera!
 Will and Gabe digging in!

I only have pictures of Gabe in his Christmas clothes.  Will and Ella were WAY too excited before and after Church and wanted nothing to do with their dressy clothes after their naps.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our family to yours!

Gabe's getting big!

Gabe is changing quickly these days.  He started brown rice cereal, is up on his hands and knees and trying desperately to crawl (he's not even 5 months yet! good grief!), can sit on his own for a few minutes, and loves to play with Will and Ella. NO ONE makes him belly laugh like his sister.  He still doesn't sleep much at night, but we love the little bugger anyway! Here are some new pictures of the little monkey!
Hmmm.... not so sure about this food stuff.
 Alright, maybe.
 Yeah man!

Gimme that, I'll just do it myself!

 I'm coming to get you!

 Slobber monster.

Whoa, how did I get all the way over here??

Showing off her lipstick and earrings.
A visit from Frankenstein's monster, or Uncle Frank as we called him!
