A whole handful!

Will turned five in February.  It is, honestly, hard for me to wrap my brain around.  He is such a special little boy, and we just love him to pieces.  He is smart, thoughtful, sensitive, rambunctious, goofy, and happy.  He loves to build with Legos, doesn't throw ANYTHING away, and his memory is like Fort Knox.  He would spend every minute of everyday outside on his bike or climbing on the swingset.  His favorite characters these days are pirates of any kind, but particularly the chapter book series Pirate School.  He is also really into nonfiction books, favorites are about weather and sharks.  He loves school, is excited about starting Kindergarten next year, and can't wait for summer to "dive to the bottom of the pool." He loves learning magic tricks with Uncle Damon.  Favorite foods are taco salad and lasagna, popcorn, anything mint, red peppers, carrots, tomatoes, and as much fruit as he can get his hands on. He laughs freely and often, can sometimes be a worrier, and has a typical love/hate relationship with his siblings.  He adores his dad and can't wait to "go cruisin'" in Pap's new Corvette.   He is our joy. Happy Birthday, Buster!

Building with the new Kid Wood he got from Nan and Pap.

Pirate cake pop for school birthday treat!
